“I just had my hair washed. I don’t wear my mask when I’m washing my hair,” she said. “Do you wear one when you wash your hair?”House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
It’s official: “Salongate” has taken the media by storm.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday claimed she was “set up” and a hair salon in San Francisco “owes” her an “apology”.
Fox News quotes Pelosi as saying, “I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I have been to many times.”
“When they said they could accommodate people one at a time, and we can set up that time, I trusted that.”
East Bay Times says that ‘Nancy Pelosi’s blowout has blown up.’
The article adds, ‘When the scandal broke, eSalon owner Erica Kious told Fox News that she was outraged to learn of Pelosi’s visit with a stylist who rented space from her salon.’
The article mentions that Nancy Pelosi’s stylist backs the speaker’s claim she was ‘set up’ by the salon.
In a statement released by stylist Jonathan Denardo’s lawyers, they say, “When DeNardo called the salon owner Sunday night to ask if he could bring in Pelosi, the statement said, Kious “made several vitriolic and incendiary comments about Speaker Pelosi” but ultimately approved.”
The statement would be in stark contrast to what salon owner Erica Kious said before about Pelosi’s visit.Watch the latest video at foxnews.com
Kious claims there was no ‘set up’, that there’s nothing political going on.
“It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” Kious told Fox News.’
Even though both sides seem to be playing the victim game, hopefully soon the truth will come out about the situation.
