Vice President Mike Pence drew a contrast between what he said is President Trump’s “law and order” and pro-economy agenda versus a “radical left” agenda he said is supported by Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris, says an article from Fox News.
In an interview with “Fox & Friends”, Pence said “Joe Biden said last night … democracy is on the ballot, character is on the ballot,” and then laid out what he said the election was all about.
“The economy is on the ballot. Law and order is on the ballot. And the American people know it…. the contrast with what Joe Biden and the Democrats are offering is astonishing.”
Pence also added, “there was so much negativity, nothing but ad hominem attacks” and “a very negative view of America” at the DNC.
The New York Post said ‘The sickening hate crimes we are seeing in Democratic-run cities in the name of BLM over the past 12 weeks are occurring with the tacit encouragement of Democratic mayors, governors and district attorneys.’
Miranda Devine of the New York Post also added that “This is the dirty secret Democrats are trying to sweep under the carpet until the election, with the help of their media allies.”
Pence says, “Senator Kamala Harris is a California liberal who had the most liberal voting record in the United States Senate in 2019,” Pence said on “Fox & Friends.”
“And her selection as Joe Biden’s running mate just confirmed everything President Trump and I have been saying all along — that Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have been overtaken by the radical left.”
Democratic Party Chair Tom Perez took to the convention stage Tuesday to pay lavish homage to “the Black Lives Matter movement [which] has given voice to the deep-seated inequality that has plagued our nation since its inception . . . When we nominate Joe Biden to be our standard-bearer, we will not miss this moment to ensure those values are reflected in everything we do.”
