“we’ll end up with one boring socialist country that’ll go to hell,”President Trump speaking about if Joe Biden is elected President
Attempting to steal the spotlight ahead of the opening of the Democratic National Convention, President Donald Trump attacked rival Joe Biden on Monday as a “Trojan horse for socialism” and said his agenda would unleash crime, chaos, and corruption on the nation’s suburbs.
USA Today says that Trump is accusing Biden and the other democrats of waging “a left-wing war on cops” and suggested their sympathies lie with “lawbreakers and criminals.”
Is Biden A Trojan Horse?
Fox News quotes Trump as saying, “Joe Biden is just a Trojan horse for socialism,” Trump said in Oshkosh, Wis. on Monday evening. “He is, he’s a Trojan horse. He has no clue, but the people around him are tough, and they’re smart.”
Trump added, “We’ll save our cities and our suburbs from the future of crime and chaos, corruption and economic collapse that puppet Joe Biden would unleash on America,” Trump said. “This is a puppet. He won’t do it intentionally…He just says, well, whatever they want, because he has no clue.”
A Desperate Strategy?
NBC News thinks that the Trump campaign is using this “socialist” strategy to go after Biden because, after months of trying, they really haven’t landed any real punches on the Presidential nominee.
The article mentions that Trump has called Biden “sleepy Joe” and derided him as too tired and unfit to do the job. He has mocked him for a steady stream of verbal stumbles. He has painted him as a tool of China. He has linked him to a “defund the police” movement that Biden has rejected. None of it is sticking.
What Is Socialism?
Socialism, is referred to as the social and economic doctrine that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of property and natural resources. “State-Owned” would be a good way to describe it.
Current countries that are referred to as “Socialist States” are China, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another.
Britannica says that ‘Furthermore, everything that people produce is in some sense a social product, and everyone who contributes to the production of a good is entitled to a share in it. Society as a whole, therefore, should own or at least control property for the benefit of all its members.’
What Is Capitalism?
Capitalism, also called free market economy or free enterprise economy, economic system, dominant in the Western world since the breakup of feudalism, in which most means of production are privately owned and production is guided and income distributed largely through the operation of markets.
