The Mystics also recently signed Essence Carson last Friday, and so this most recent move leaves their total roster depth status sitting at 12.
The bigger question, however, still remains that of whether or not the 2019 league MVP Elena Delle Donne will be participating in games during the scheduled 2020 season.
Delle Don apparently has a history of Lyme Disease and also recently had off-season back surgery as well, putting her in the category that would be considered higher risk if she did indeed contract the coronavirus as a result of playing.
Players termed high risk can be deemed a protected player and sit out the season whilst still receiving their full salary.
