Colin Kaepernick has had an understandably large ripple affect on not only football fans and citizens across the country, but quite obviously the players themselves who participate in the NFL week in and week out.
Randall Cobb is one of those players, and he recently did an interview with Fox Sports (which you can see below.) regarding the impact Colin has had on his philosophy and what it means to stand up for something despite the public apprehension surrounding it.
Colin has sparked somewhat of a modern movement focused toward combating the problems of systemic racism present in the world, and specifically the United States in the NFL.
Not many of us new or assumed this would become such a prolific issue and have such a longstanding tenure in the public eye, but regardless, it has. For the better.
Players like Randall Cobb and a plethora of others who are ambassadors of the league have been galvanized by the movement, and should continue to follow suit on this path toward breaking down these social barriers that need to be uprooted.
