Since the discovery of the children’s remains, Daybell has been taken into custody. His bond has been set at $1million.

It was not stated on the record what state the children’s remains were in. Once officials process the remains via post mortem it will assist in determining what caused these young deaths precisely. CBS 2 KUTV reported that as of Wednesday, June 10, the official results of the autopsy had not been released to the public.

Chad Daybell is the husband of Lori Vallow. Vallow is herself facing five criminal charges. Two of these charges are felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children. She also received on misdemeanor count each for obstructing and resisting a police officer. She is also charged with solicitation of a crime and contempt. Her bond is set at $1 million.

Lori Vallow’s children were Joshua “J-J”, aged 7 at the time of disappearance, and Tylee aged 17. The New York Post called it “doomsday” when the remains of the kids were at last found on the Daybell property. The children’s graves were unearthed when the investigation showed up at the Rexburg residence with a search warrant. They dug up the property with a backhoe.

Fox 10 reported that J-J Vallow and Tylee Ryan have been missing since September. Fox 10 was reporting from the Associated Press.  The family of the children and officials have confirmed that the remains of two children uncovered on the Daybell residential property in Idaho belonged to Vallow and Ryan. This is further citing the New York Post. New York Post states that the Woodcock family of young J-J and the Ryan family of Tylee Ryan confirmed the remains in cooperation with The Rexburg, Idaho police, the local medical examiner, and the FBI. The family has also released a video statement regarding the discovery of their loved ones’ remains. This statement was reported by East Idaho News.

The prosecution notes that Mr. Daybell is well aware that the remains on his property belonged to children. The New York Post called it “doomsday” due to the fact that Loir Vallow has an obsession with a Doomsday-cult, and made predictions about the end of times. Paul Melaine Gibb, a former friend, recalled how Vallow believed J-J had become a zombie. Gibb stated that Vallow believed she and Daybell had a commission to protect the United States from the onset of a zombie insurrection. Both Daybell and Vallow had suspicious proximity to other violent deaths prior to incarceration over the death of the children. Vallow left Idaho for Arizona just a month after her previous husband was fatally shot by her brother Charles.

It is unclear at this time if more charges than the current existing ones will be filed against Vallow and Daybell.
