According to radio.com, Morgan saw Kopech’s Instagram and thought of him as a “dream guy.” Two years ago, when she was in Chicago, they met in person. Morgan says to E! News, “If it wasn’t for social media, we would have never known each other.” Then added with glee, “Thank you IG and Twitter for my husband!” Kopech proposed to her this past year on the Fourth of July.

“We both knew the first day we met that ‘this is it’ and I’m so excited that today officially starts our forever,” Morgan added. “Today, I vowed to love my best friend for a lifetime and it was a day spent with those we love in a room filled with endless love. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”

Right after he proposed, the young actress announced the engagement on Instagram that captioned, “My forever” followed by cute emojis. The photo showed Kopech down on one knee in front of a breath taking waterfall. The proposal took place at the Grand Canyons Mooney Falls in Arizona, according to usmagazine.com.

The pitcher Micheal Kopech, 23, then followed his brides post with one of his own. Kopech posted a video of the surprise proposal and Morgan excitedly responding. He wrote, “So I’ll start with the obvious: I love you. I love you intensely, passionately, & also at times, recklessly. I make decisions on the spur of the moment.”

The star pitcher then added, “I’m a very non traditional type of person and I know I’ve found my match in you when it comes to that especially. Our relationship probably doesn’t make sense to many people for a s–t ton of reasons, but we’re not doing it for them. We know this is forever. Why would we wait?” He continues to praise the Finding Carter actress who helped him feel better back in September 2018 during his injuries. After a game vs. the Tigers, it was revealed that the player needed Tommy John surgery, reported nbcsports.com.

The pitcher continues to express his love for his bride: “You literally stayed by my side when I felt I had lost my mind. You stayed by my side for these seemingly random changes of my life,” he said. “You’re undeniably the spark that reignited my fire. You’re deserving of much more than just this moment but this one just felt particularly magical. … I’ll never have enough words to tell you how much I love you, but I promise to always show you. But for now, I’ll finish this how I started: I love you. SO MUCH.”
