Former Fox news reporter Courtney Friel claims President Donald Trump asked her to kiss him during a phone conversation. In her upcoming book, Tonight At 10: Kicking Booze and Breaking News, Friel states this incident was during 2010, years before Trump’s political career was taken seriously. Friel says Trump referred to her as ‘hot” during a phone call regarding Friel being a judge for the Miss USA paegent. During this conversation is where Trump allegdly tells Friel to come to his office so they can kiss.
Based on reports from the Daily News, Friel claims the President engaged in some small talk before making the sexually charged advance. He went about it by saying “You should come up to my office sometime, so we can kiss.” It was then that Friel had to remind him that both she and himself were married; Trump has been married to Melania Trump since 2005, with whom he has a son with, Barron Trump.
After this call, Friel said it was hard for her to be reporting on Trump during his presidential run, knowing the adulterous affair he attempted to start with her. She had been a reporter on ‘Fox and Friends” for six years before departing in 2013.
Friel is quoted in her book as saying, “This proposition made it difficult for me to report with a straight face on Trump running for president”
As Trump’s presidential run intensified, a slew of women had came forward with sexual misconduct allegations on Trump’s part, which he of course vehemently denied.
With the number of accusations against Trump brewing, Friel without a doubt believes the woman who have came forward, with another quote from her upcoming memoir stating, “It infuriated me that he would call all the women who shared stories of his bold advances liars. I totally believe them.” Trump’s sexual assault allegations date back to as far as the 1980’s.
His most infamous offense being that of the Access Hollywood tapes with now disgraced former co-host Billy Bush. The tapes which were just strictly audio, was leaked just weeks before the election in 2016.
In these audio tapes, you hear eventual President elect Trump and Bush discussing how he forcibly touches, kisses and gropes women. The disturbing line of “Grab them by the P–y, you can do anything” echoed the classic narcissism we’ve grown to expect from Trump since his early days as a real estate mogul.
The alleged Stormy Daniels affair was another high profile incident involving a woman, although no sexual misconduct was alleged, Trump as we know is a married man.
Friel joked in her book,“At least now I can joke that I could have banged the President — but I passed.”
Trump and the White House have yet to comment on Friel’s allegations.
