A NEST security camera caught a woman being kidnapped on New Years Day after she approached a front porch screaming for help.

At 12:45 on New Years Day, a woman was seen running up to a front porch desperately searching for help when a white sedan believed to be a Hyundai Sonata pulls up, and a man jumps out to charge her.

The incident occurred near the Interstate 215 and Interstate 15 interchange.

The man then throws her to the ground and kicks her repeatedly while screaming, ‘why would you do that?’

He is then seen dragging her away by her hair. The suspect puts the woman on the passenger side of the vehicle and drives off.

The Las Vegas Police released the footage in hopes of apprehending the suspect and locating the woman alive.

Due to tips from the public, the Vegas Police have just reported that the suspect has been apprehended, and the victim is now safe. The assailant has been identified as 23-year-old Darnell Rodgers, who is now facing kidnapping and domestic battery charges.
