Kate Middleton and Prince William’s surprising family Christmas card has been released per the Royal Family tradition. The casual Christmas card was first made public by a member of the Royal Air Force, who was given the card from Kate. The holiday card depicts the happy family in a very casual manner, posing on vintage motorcycle complete with sidecar.
Prince William sits on the motorcycle itself while holding tiny Prince Louis in front of him. Kate poses to the left of her husband, standing beside the classic bike holding one of the handlebars. Prince George and Princess Charlotte pose next to them in the sidecar of the motorcycle. A picture perfect happy family.
Last year the family shot their 2018 Christmas card in Autumn and sported a similarly casual look as well. The family of five dressed in matching blue outfits and took the photo at their country home of Anmer Hall, located in Norfolk.
The festive family will be joining the Queen for Christmas this year at Sandringham. Typically, the members of the royal family will join Queen Elizabeth at her home, Sandringham Estate, in Norfolk, England. The festivities include gathering on Christmas Eve and opening gifts that evening. Then the family attends a Christmas day church service, followed by a dinner consisting of turkey. This year, however, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending the events. Queen Elizabeth has shown her support and approval of the new family’s decision to spend Christmas with the Duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland.
Prince William, Kate, and the children attended the Queen’s annual Christmas lunch on Wednesday as well. Kate also went out to help children pick out Christmas trees for their schools. Prince George should be gearing up for his annual Santa visit soon. It looks like the holiday spirit is in full swing for the royal family this year!
