Drew Brees Dethrones Peyton Manning as King of Touchdown Passes

On Monday night football Saints fans were celebrating more than just a victory. Saints quarterback Drew Brees broke the record for the most touchdown passes in the NFL. Surpassing previous record holder Peyton Manning.

Brees made four touchdown passes during Monday night’s game, making 541 touchdown passes made in his NFL career. In comparison to Manning’s record, Brees topped him by two. Drew is also holds the record for most career passing yards.

Via Twitter Superbowl champ Tom Brady congratulated Brees on his touchdown pass record. Along with setting record’s, brees has also completed 29 of his 30 passes for 307 yards. Brees is looking like he may be on the road to being MVP this year.
