Walmart recently pulled several of their holiday sweaters off shelves for having inappropriate graphics. Many customers took offense to the sweaters. One of the most seen sweater depicts Santa sitting behind a coffee tabe with three white lines on the table, the phrase “Let it snow” is captioned on the sweater.
The retailer issued an apology for the vulgar holiday sweaters. The apology came from their third-party seller FUN. Other graphics from the sweater were or Mrs.Clause dressind in lingerie, both Mr and Mrs. Clause in a compromising position and one of Santa with no pants on standing in front of a fireplace captioned “Roasting his chestnuts”.
Walmart is not the first retailer to be in hot water because of inappropriate graphics. A simialr situation happened with Amazon, who released merchandise that was offensive towards the Jewish community. According to The Washington Post Walmart.ca was the only site to sell the holiday sweaters.
