As of Monday, December 2nd, federal prosecutors say that they are likely to file new criminal charges against associates of President Trump’s personal lawyer, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Although it is the case that no definitive decision has been made yet regarding these charges, it is the case that the distribution of such charges is “likely“.

Federal prosecutors assert that they are continuing to evaluate the situation, so as to assess the appropriateness of pressing new charges.

The announcement of these new charges was made during a court hearing regarding a case related to Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.

Parnas and Fruman had been charged over funneling money into U.S. political candidates via foreign money. Likewise, they have been noted by Giuliani himself to have been of assistance in digging up dirt on the Bidens from Ukraine.

As of now, the nature and details of these new charges has yet to be revealed by federal prosecutors.
